Getting to the Island For Shared Internal Maldives Transfers: The resort operates two return scheduled ‘Premium Transfer’ flights per day from Male’ (Velana International Airport) to JA Manafaru (Hoarafushi Island Airport, Haa Alifu Atoll). The scheduled flight duration is typically less than 50 minutes, followed by a very short speedboat journey to the resort jetty, less than 10 minutes away. Airport) to Hoarafushi Connection --- Morning (AM) International Arrival – Morning inbound departure flight from Male’ to Hoarafushi is at 11:45hrs* Afternoon (PM) International Arrival – Afternoon inbound departure flight from Male’ to Hoarafushi is at 16:15hrs* *Check-in closes 30 minutes before Hoarafushi domestic transfer flight & suitable for international flights arriving into the Maldives at least 2 hours before these times. ---Internal Maldives Transfer, Hoarafushi to Male’ (Velana Int. Airport) Connection --- Evening (PM) International Departure - Afternoon outbound departure flight from Hoarafushi to Male’ is at 13:15hrs* Night (PM) International Departure - Afternoon outbound departure flight from Hoarafushi to Male’ is at 17:45hrs* *Check-in closes 30 minutes before Velana Airport domestic transfer flight & suitable for international flights departing the Maldives 3 hours after this time Transfer Fares: Adult’s Fare $753net per return flight (exclusive of Tax/Service). Children’s Fare (2-11.9Y): $689net (exclusive of Tax/Service). Infant’s Fare (0-1.9Y): Complimentary without luggage allowance. The ‘Carrier’ reserves the right to amend the flight aircraft or route subject to load. The internal Maldives transfer surcharge will be applied to your island account for each passenger for payment on check-out. Premium Transfer Schedule: Mandatory Requirement for Each Traveller: International Inbound/Outbound Flight Number, Passport Name, Nationality, Gender, and Date of Birth are required for all passengers 15 days in advance of their international arrival into Male’ to guarantee seat availability and reservation. Failure to provide/comply means it is highly likely the Resort will not be able to arrange seats on the day of arrival and will likely result in additional waiting time at the Airport OR overnight stay in Male’ at the traveller’s own expense until airline seats become available. Due to this last-minute seat request and availability, additional charges may apply. You may use the ‘Special Requests’ box when booking or contact the property directly using the contact details provided in your confirmation. Internal Maldives flights are arranged using third party transfer services with standard luggage allowance of 22Kg, plus 5Kg hand luggage (dimension not exceeding 20” x 12” x 7”) per paying passenger (additional luggage weight charges will apply over this allocation and will be paid by the passenger directly to the carrier). Inbound passengers also have access to the Carrier’s transit rest facility, offering light refreshments until inbound flight departure check in. For Private Charter Seaplane (daylight hours only) Should you wish to book a Private Charter Seaplane just for you and your family, this may be arranged by prior arrangement and as a non-refundable reservation. Please contact our Resort reservations team for further details. Prices are per way and for up to a maximum of 12 persons booked as one reservation group. Reservations should be placed 7 days in advance of international arrival - Terms & Conditions apply. Private Charter Seaplane: Mandatory Requirement for Each Traveller: International Inbound/Outbound Flight Number, Passport Name, Nationality, Gender and Date of Birth are required for all passengers 7 days in advance of their international arrival into Male’ to guarantee flight availability and reservation. Last minute changes/missing information/delays may result in additional charges to the travellers. Failure to provide/comply means no reservation can be made and will likely result in additional waiting time at the Airport OR overnight stays in Male’ at the traveller’s own expense until airline seats become available. Private Charter Seaplane: Seaplane transfers are arranged using third party transfer services with standard luggage allowance of 20Kg, plus 5Kg hand luggage per paying passenger. Luggage over this weight allocation may be removed from the flight and transferred to the resort on the next available scheduled transfer (charges may apply. Inbound passengers also have access to the carrier’s transit Lounge facility, offering light refreshments until inbound flight departure check in. General Resort Policies and Information Check-In & Payment: Guests are required to show a photo identification and provide a credit card upon check-in to open the account. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in/making the payment at the resort. Please note that the property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes. Please also note that all ‘Special Requests’ are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. JA Resorts & Hotels will send a payment link to the registered email address depending on the cancellation policy of the booking to complete the credit card details for advance payment. Guests are requested to validate their credit card and make payment through the payment link received from our JA Reservations Team to validate their reservation. Reservations remain tentative and may be released if payment is not made in full. All travellers should ensure they are personally aware with all/any Travel or Health requirements for both entering/exiting Maldives as well as any other transit hub/final destination requirements. Half Board Meal Plan: Choice of Lunch or Dinner (3 Course Meal) is available at “KAKUNI” Our All-Dining Restaurant only. If guests wish to dine in any other dining venue, reservations are subject availability and advance reservation. The full á la carte price will be applicable as the Half Board inclusion only applies to “KAKUNI Restaurant.” Children’s Meal Plan: Maximum of 2 children under 11.9 years will dine with our compliments based on the parent’s reserved meal-plan benefits. A Children’s Menu applies and is available in certain corresponding venues. Children’s meals are aligned with the parent’s preferred mealtime and children must always be accompanied by an adult (naturally Children’s Meal Plan exclude any alcoholic beverages).
